Course Description

Green Belt participants receive a thorough exposure to the tools and methods that are necessary to successfully lead and contribute to DMAIC improvement projects.  State-of-the-art tools for the application of the dMAIC improvement strategy to projects will be introduced along with hands-on exercises and tutorials to ensure rapid learning and knowledge retention.  This 11-day program is delivered 4 blocks spread over 4 months in order to allow participants to apply the tools and methods to a project in their own business while under the guidance of one of SigmaPro's highly qualified Blackbelts.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Green Belt candidates are persons who have good technical and communications skills, are results oriented individuals, and who will contribute to and lead Six Sigma improvement projects in industrial and service environments. 
  • Green Belt candidates must pass the SigmaPro Green Belt certification examination upon completion of the training. 
  • A training certificate will be provided.

  • How the DMAIC strategy can be successfully applied to industrial projects
  • How statistical and other quantitative tools are used to increase the probability of success on projects
  • How advanced tools may be used to shorten project schedules and ensure that the desired results are obtained
  • How to address change management issues while improving process performance
